Software Architect C++ & Cloud (M/F)
Currently, our software is in an advanced prototyping phase, and we aim to structure its architecture to prepare for industrialization and gradual deployment to the cloud.
Main Missions
We are looking for a Software Architect proficient in C++ with cloud deployment skills to take over the existing architecture, improve its modularity, strengthen our development practices, and lead the transition to the cloud. Your missions will include:
- Taking ownership of the existing software architecture, ensuring its continuity and improvement.
- Structuring and documenting the software architecture to guarantee its modularity and maintainability.
- Implementing DevOps practices.
- Defining the cloud transition strategy to ensure the security and scalability of cloud infrastructures.
- Collaborating with the team responsible for integrating AI modules and improving data management.
Desired Profile
Required Skills
- Proven experience in designing and evolving modular software architectures.
- Mastery of C/C++ development and good software structuring practices.
- Experience in CI/CD and integration of DevOps processes.
- Good understanding of deployment and maintenance strategies for cloud applications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Proficiency in Git and good code management practices.
- Experience in low-level development or parallel programming is a plus.
- Understanding of data structures and manipulation (scientific visualization is a plus).
We are looking for a dynamic, autonomous, and proactive individual. Curious and committed, you enjoy tackling technical challenges and contributing to innovation. You can communicate and document your choices to ensure clarity within the team. The role also involves close collaboration with the team and representing the startup at trade shows and conferences.
Experience and Education
We are open to various profiles, whether from academia, industry, or solid personal projects.
Degree: Master’s or engineering level minimum, but experience takes precedence over the degree.
First experience in software architecture development is expected.
Package and Work Environment
Salary: Between €40,000 and €50,000 gross per year, adjustable based on experience.
Location: Flexible (fully remote, hybrid, or on-site), but regular presence is desired to facilitate team interactions.
Position: NVEIL. Rond point de la Croix de Vie, 38700 La Tronche
Start date : According to availability.
Data Scientist (M/F)
We are seeking a Data Scientist to contribute to the development of our data interpretation engine and user queries, combining language models (LLM) and constraint programming (ASP). The goal is to design a system capable of translating requests into visualization constraints, validating their coherence, and generating usable models.
Main Missions
You will work at the interface between natural language processing, logical modeling, and data analysis, with the mission of structuring an intelligent pipeline guiding the user in constructing appropriate scientific visualizations. Your missions will include:
- Developing a mechanism for validating and optimizing queries using ASP solvers and predefined visualization rules.
- Defining a strategy enabling the LLM to interpret a request and translate it into visualization constraints.
- Integrating the developed modules into the existing software architecture.
- Collaborating with the software development and UX/UI teams to ensure the relevance and usability of the proposed solutions.
Desired Profile
Required Skills
- Strong experience in data modeling and machine/deep learning.
- Familiarity with natural language models (LLMs), including fine-tuning and prompting techniques, as well as a solid understanding of model optimization and validation methods.
- Experience in C++ development.
- Comfortable with data processing pipelines and evaluation frameworks for AI models.
- Knowledge of logic and constraint programming concepts—particularly with ASP (Answer Set Programming) or an equivalent approach—is a valuable asset.
- Understanding of the use of statistical tests and familiarity with data visualization libraries (in R, Python, or C++).
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just train models, but understands the data and knows how to extract meaning from it. You enjoy exploring different ways to structure information and create meaningful representations. Curious and creative, you’re not limited to off-the-shelf solutions—you’re able to propose approaches tailored to users’ real needs.
You’re comfortable communicating your ideas and formalizing your work, whether with a technical team or non-specialist stakeholders. Autonomy is key: you enjoy experimenting, diving deep into topics, and suggesting improvements without waiting for detailed instructions. You have a strong interest in data visualization, and you see AI not as a black box, but as a tool to enhance access to knowledge.
Experience and Education
We are open to various profiles, whether from academia, industry, or solid personal projects.
Degree: Master’s or Ph.D. in computer science, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, or applied mathematics.
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in AI/data science research or development (strong academic or personal projects are also considered).
