nVeil is a graphics application, a video transformer with a history: it is the digital heir to TeleFire, the optical video filter by Storek Studio sold through The Sharper Image and Western Light Lab.
Storek Studio is a San Francisco area design firm, rooted in visual art, product design and architecture (as Storek Architecture, designed and built the first Mac facility for Apple).
nVeil is Mac-based, available here as an FxFactory plugin working within Apple Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, Motion and now Adobe After Effects.

(integrated Intel graphics processors not supported)
Hardware Acceleration
FxFactory uses the graphics card inside every Mac to provide accelerated previews and renders.
All ATI and NVIDIA graphics processors with at least 128MB of VRAM are supported.
Integrated Intel graphics processors are not supported.

You can determine the graphics card installed on your system by selecting the “About this Mac” command under the Apple menu. When the system summary appears, click the “More
Info” button, which will launch the System Profiler application. Graphics cards are listed
under the “Graphics/Displays” section of the System Profiler.
